1998 Plymouth Voyager

The battle for the top spot continues. Every year more and more mini vans try to topple each other for the supremacy in their segment. But originality still is a big factor. Being the first in its class Plymouth Voyager knows how to handle its success and keep it at its peak. Finding a way to somehow optimize its line year after year, Chrysler has captured this segment and has its grip on it like talon claws. The 1998 Voyager is available in three models: Base, SE and Expresso.

All new for 1998, the Expresso model gives a fresh look with new wheel covers, a CD player and exterior trim. The Expresso replaces the Rallye. For 1998, the 3.0L V6 replaces the 2.4L 4-cylinder as standard on SE models. Left-side sliding door is now standard on all models except the base model. In addition, an easy-entry Quad Command left seat is offered in 1998. New ignition key cylinder is added for security. All models are equipped with the all-new seven hooks attached to the back of rear bench seats to support grocery bags.
